How we will use your data

Admiral Pet Insurance will use your data for the purpose of providing you with a quote and this will include sharing data with insurers and other third parties. We, or the insurers will carry out checks with external databases such as credit reference agencies and publically available sources of information as part of this process to enable us to verify the information you provide, to assist us in providing the quote and for fraud prevention. If you have previously held a product with Admiral or obtained a quote in the past, we may carry out checks against the data we already hold on you.

Please read our Privacy Policy before continuing which sets out information about how your data is used and stored and who we share information with as well as information about your rights.

We’d like to keep you up to date on information and special offers about Admiral products and services.

We want to ensure you are informed of how we plan to use your data and your rights in relation to our use of your data, so please review our Privacy Policy.

Assumptions

Please read and accept the assumptions below:

  1. Third party liability is not covered at your place of work.
  2. You accept that previous, existing, ongoing, recurring medical conditions such as incidents, injuries and illnesses will not be covered by your pet insurance policy.
  3. You accept that claims for vet fees following an illness or accident that occurred prior to, or within the first 14 days of your pet insurance policy start date will not be covered.
  4. You accept that claims for death benefits resulting from an illness or an accident that occurred prior to, or within the first 14 days of your pet insurance policy start date will not be covered.
  5. You are a resident of the United Kingdom, the owner and keeper of the pet, and the pet is kept in the United Kingdom at the address you have provided.
  6. Your pet has no vicious tendencies or been trained to attack.
  7. Your pet has not been the cause of any accident or legal action or third party liability claims.
  8. You have never had any special terms imposed on a pet insurance policy covering your pet.
  9. Your pet is not used for any guard, security, track racing, coursing, or used in connection to any business, trade, profession, commercial breeding or occupation.
  10. You agree to take proper and reasonable care of your pet at all times, in line with the Animal Welfare Act.
  11. Your pet must have received vaccinations/boosters within the last 12 months or as advised by your vet. If this is not the case, you accept that the medical conditions that your pet is normally protected against by such vaccinations/boosters will not be covered by this insurance policy.
  12. Your pet does not appear on the list of unacceptable breeds (see below).

African Crested Dog, American Bandogge, American Mancon, Argentinian Mastiff, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Australian Dingo, Bandogge Mastiff, Boerboel, Bully Kutta, Canadian Inuit, Canary Dog (Pero De Pressa Canarios), Cane Corsos, Cao Fila, Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, Dogo Argentinino, Dogue Brasileros, Fila Brasileiro, Inuit, Irish Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Korean Jindo, Laika, Lybian Desert Dog, Northern Inuit, Pit Bull Mastiff, Pit Bull Terrier, Racing Greyhound, Sarloos Wolfhound, Shar Pei, Tamaskan, Tosa Inus, Utonagan, Wolf Hybrid, Working Sheepdog, Aladseer, Asian Leopard, Feral, Munchkin, Weiner Cat, or any crossed with one of the above.

I have not received the email about my documents?

We will send you your documents within 5 working days. Please ensure your email account is configured to accept our email and any spam or junk mail filters are switched off. Our system monitors the delivery of your documents and if we cannot provide them electronically we will send them via the post. However if you haven’t received them after 5 days please contact us on 0333 234 0605.

I can’t download my documents?

There could be a number of reasons why this occurs. Firstly, check you have entered your security credentials correctly. If you are still experiencing difficulties please contact us on 0333 234 0605 and we will be able to help you.

I have forgotten the email address I provided you with?
